When PJ was born, he had a TON of blonde, spiky hair! Heck, before he was born, the doctor peered in and announced "I see him...he has a TON of hair!". I was a little less excited to hear about his hair when he was still in my birth canal then I was to hear about it once he was out!
Ahem. Anyway...
Oh, that hair!!! I used to rub my chin against it when I would have his teeny little bod snuggled up to my chest! Old ladies would comment on it! But, as the months went on, that teeny bod got bigger, and that head full of blonde hair got balder! It pretty much all fell out, except for a patch at the top of his head that is getting so long I may have to trim it (and thankfully, his hair is coming back, there is blonde peach fuzz alllll over his head!)!
My sister, PJ's sweet Aunt Marla, suggested that he might look a little bit like the guy from the 80's band Flock of Seagulls (they had a hit called "I Ran" which I sing whenever someone mentions...you know. Iran. Ahem...). Anyway, the singer had this weird hair. I went looking for a picture and found this:
And it made me laugh.
