Save your heart attack...

....linking up (super late) with Kathy for some Humpday Confessions!

Vodka and Soda

...It's the Stanley Cup Finals- my favorite time of year! Even though the Flyers rarely make it past the first or second round, I love hockey in late spring! This year it's the Rangers vs the Kings and, although they are arch-rivals of the Flyers, I am rooting for the Rangers. This is due to my heavy worship of former Ranger Mark Messier. He was always the player that I dreamed would be traded to the Flyers one day! And also, have you met current Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist?

You're welcome.

...I have stuck to my Weight Watchers plan for three days in a row. Who wants to throw me a party???

...I wrote a piece for the June issue of South Jersey Mom Magazine about ways to spice up a Mom's Night Out. It was a lot of fun to write, but the irony is that I am rarely out past 8:30. Last month, I contributed a piece on how to find household tips on Pinterest. Pffffft. Maybe I should go into fiction.

...We have PJ's IEP meeting on Monday and I am getting nervous thinking about it. Next year is his last year of pre-school and I am hoping it will be as productive as possible in order to get him as ready as possible for kindergarten. This meeting will help all of us - Pete and I, PJ's teachers, therapists, social workers, etc- create a road map that will best get him to the destination we're looking for. This school year has been a difficult one, and I am hoping that his new IEP will help get him back on track when school starts in the fall.

...PJ and I slept like crap last night because it was HOT. The weather took a sudden turn and it feels like summer outside. I try to hold out as long as possible {cheap} but today, I finally gave in and turned the air conditioning on, and I am looking forward to a much better night of sleep tonight.

...I am still counting the seconds until we start officially looking at houses in the middle of nowhere with no neighbors in areas with great schools. {ahem}

...I desperately need a haircut. It looks like a small, fine-haired animal that met the bum end of an electric fence is living on my head. All I need to do is find a stylist and commit the time. Pffft.

....I'm going to watch the third period of this game in bed. Night!

we do that - hold out on the AC until we absolutely need to. although the other week my husband was all: don't turn it on but it was 30 degrees and sweltering and everyone was miserable.

thanks for linking up!

MFD turned the AC on the other night and I protested loudly from upstairs. I am a holdout. It's off again Thank God.

Best of luck at the meeting on Monday!

I'm so happy that you & your sister are cheering for the Rangers. I live in Ranger land, yet I'm somehow surrounded by Kings fans... it's miserable. Hope you have an awesome weekend :)
