"I guess he’s an X-box and I’m more Atari..."

Hey, my last post was my 400th!!! Wow!!

Anyway, this is a brief "hello!" after a few very, very long nights with PJ! For two nights in a row, he didn't settle down to sleep until 10pm- two hours past his usual bedtime! He wasn't unhappy, just wired! The video from my last post? That was pretty much how bedtime was going! The first night, once he fell asleep, he stayed asleep, but last night, PJ woke up again at a little after midnight and didn't go back to sleep until 4am!

That's right. 4am. Urghhhhhhhhh.....

Again, he wasn't upset, he was just awake! He was smiling, laughing, and blowing raspberries on my arms! I could not, for the life of me, figure out what on earth got into him! At 2:30am we were snuggled in my bed, watching "That 70's Show", PJ laughing every time I did! Even though a part of me enjoyed the bonus snuggle time with my best Boy-Boy, I knew we'd both pay for it!

So, after a l-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-n-g night and a play date this morning, I figured that PJ would be wiped out by nap time.

Yeah. You guessed it. I figured wrong. He didn't take a nap today! What the hell? He bounced around his crib until I finally faced defeat and got him! At one point, he had thrown all of his things (paci, tag blankey, cookie monster doll) out of his crib. When I finally took them away, leaving him with nothing to chuck over the crib rail, he took his socks off and chucked those.

Smart ass.

Thankfully, he's now sound asleep after dinner at our wonderful friends house! Since we both have working-at-night husbands right now, we hung out to keep each other company and kill the time! The kids had a blast and it would seem that PJ ran out a lot of his energy! He's been asleep for three hours now, which is already a vast improvement over the last two nights!

And now that the Flyers game is over? I'm off to bed, too!

Goodnight, loves!

Throwing the socks - too funny!

Glad he's sleeping now.
